PALM BEACH COUNTY’S MONTHS SUPPLY OF INVENTORY INCREASES 34.1% YEAR-OVER-YEAR
Just in! April 2025 reports have been released detailing recent real estate activity in Palm Beach County. The reports compare year-over-year data. Here are statistics on single-family homes.
With a year-over-year increase in inventory, Palm Beach County currently has 6,503 active listings – a 29.6% increase. With more competition in the market, it is shifting to favor buyers, making sellers understand that price reductions could be on the horizon. Despite this increase, closed sales dropped 5.3% year-over-year, a strong signal that buyer activity is cooling despite relatively stable pricing.
"We’re seeing a shift in Palm Beach County. With inventory up nearly 30% and homes taking longer to move, buyers have more choices and negotiating power,” says President of the Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors Jonathan Lickstein. “That’s why it’s so important to work with a local Realtor® who has unique expertise in the market and can provide insights for both buyers and sellers.
