INVENTORY CLIMBS IN PALM BEACH COUNTY AS SALES AND PRICES SLIP
Just in! September 2025 reports have been released detailing recent real estate activity in Palm Beach County. The reports compare year-over-year data. Here are statistics on single-family homes.
Palm Beach County’s housing market reflected closed sales up 24.8% year-over-year, totaling 1,163 transactions compared to 932 in September 2024. Active listings rose 2.8% to 5,576 homes. This drove the months’ supply of inventory up to 5.0, giving buyers more time, options and leverage in negotiations. The median sale price stayed consistent at $615,000.
“Palm Beach County’s market is offering more opportunity and choice,” says President of the Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors® Jonathan Lickstein. “Buyers have greater leverage, and smart sellers are adjusting quickly. For first-time homebuyers especially, assumable loans can unlock real affordability, but navigating those opportunities takes expertise. That’s where a local Realtor® becomes your greatest asset.”
